Last November (2015) I was rear ended by another vehicle and suffered from very bad headaches, pain in my neck, shoulder, and back, and felt very mentally foggy.
I went to see a chiropractor, but it was only after getting acupuncture treatments that I started feeling much better. My headaches improved by 70%, my neck, shoulder, and back pain reduced by 50%, and my head feels a lot more clear. Because of all this, I also feel much less stressed and happier in general.
A few months ago (2015) I was in a head on collision that was severe enough to send me to the ER twice, as well as having to take a lot of time off work because I could not walk. I suffered from spinal injuries and tried various forms of treatments but was not getting the results I desired. There was slow progress at the beginning, but then fell back again into the same pain and sometimes even worse pain.
The results I have had here at G&L Acupuncture and Wellness Center are short of a miracle pill. My doctor's name was Zheng Gong. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for two years via traditional medicine, hormones, and other procedures. Nothing was working for us. In our last visit concerning the matter with our physician, we were told that our only option was in vitro fertilization.
After extensive research on the internet, I discovered that acupuncture could be an option. I then made an appointment to see Zheng Gong. That was 2 1/2 months ago. I suffered from severe asthma due to allergies for at least 2 months. The asthma was causing an awful cough which was making me lose sleep. I was spending over $200 a month on 5 different allergy medications and I was still suffering. I was at my breaking point because I was completely exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally. Perhaps related, I was also in constant pain at the time with headaches and joint pain, especially in my knees.
Since starting treatments, I have had amazing results. My allergies and asthma improved each visit, and I saw an improvement in my energy levels within 2 weeks. After 2 months of treatments I am only on one allergy medication, I don't have headaches or join pain anymore, and I am sleeping a lot better. I am very happy to have my quality of life back!

In 2005, I underwent major back surgery. Afterwards I tried chiropractic care, physical therapy, and massage therapy but none had any last results. I met with a surgeon who told me I was an excellent candidate for a fusion of L4 and L5 discs. I was 50 years old, in excellent physical shape (I have ran 16 marathons) and hoped the surgery would get me back on the road. After the surgery and with one year of recovery my pain level did not improve, instead it got progressively worse. I went back to physical therapy, massage therapy, attended pain clinics and considered injections.
Over the years following the second surgery my pain levels for everyday activities hovered between 6-8 out of 10. I found it difficult to do basic things such as run, bend over to pick something off the floor, put socks on, get out of bed, etc. I resigned myself to a life of constant pain especially after an MRI and my doctors saying the surgery was a "success".
In October (2012), I was given a coupon to try acupuncture. So far, I have gone 12 times and I am ecstatic about the results I have had. I have moved from a pain level of 8 to about a 2, and sometimes no pain at all. This is a miracle to me. I am back running 6-8 miles per day and I am able to do the everyday things without pain. I give G&L Acupuncture my highest recommendations.

Massage therapist Aaron is also top-notch and not only has strong, intuitive hands and a soothing voice, but also a thorough understanding of human anatomy.
The relaxation and calm that their acupuncture/massage combo brings me lasts for days. Even the office staff are exceptional at G&L. Friendly and engaging, one of them offered me a granola bar before my appointment when I told her I hadn't eaten. If I could add another star, I would!
