In the Community

An important part of who we are and what we do is community outreach. We are eager to share our love and understanding of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine with the public and show them what it is and how it can help. A lot of people can benefit from what we do but not everyone knows about it.

Outreach Activities We Do

Health Fairs - One of our favorite things to do is attend company health and benefit fairs where we get to meet everyone at the company and talk with a lot of people about the benefits of acupuncture and natural medicine. We bring all of the necessary material needed to setup an inviting and informative table. Not only do we talk to people and give out basic promotional material, we also provide needle demonstrations to anyone interested.

Needle Demonstrations - One of the biggest hurdles we face as an acupuncture clinic is people's fear of needles, which usually stems from painful shots received as kids. However, acupuncture needles are nothing like typical Western medicine shots! Acupuncture needles are hair thin and most people do not even the needle going in.

As a way to alleviate people's fear of needles, for anyone interested we have them sit down, row up a sleeve, and we place one needle shallowing in their forearm. 99% of participants are shocked at how little it hurts. An from that many people are willing to give acupuncture a try!

Seminars - Many of our knowledgable providers are eager to share their knowledge and are very good at presenting to a crowd. We like presenting on a variety of topics related to acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, ranging any where from diet, sleep, to reproductive health. Our presentations are informative and fun. We will even bring cookies, snacks, or even lunch!

Workshops - Coming in for a treatment may not always be possible due to schedule, distance, life, etc. Because of that, we like to put on workshops where people can learn self care techniques such as stretches, cupping and guasha, and acupressure points. These are great hands-on workshops for people to learn useful skills to keep themselves and the others around them healthy and pain free!

Something else in mind? - We are always open to suggestion on others things we can do to help our community. If you are interested in inviting us but would like us to do something else entirely, reach out and let us know! We want to hear from you!
