Zheng Gong is an acupuncturist and Master Chinese Herbalist specializing in women's health. She graduated in 1987 from the Shan Xi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and worked in a 500-bed Chinese hospital as a faculty practitioner before moving to the United States. She was the first (and only!) acupuncturist in our clinic when we opened in 1997. She is currently a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Oregon.

Outside of the clinic Zheng enjoys trying new foods from many different cuisines and travelling when she cans. She also has a grandson that she absolutely adores and makes a point to see every week.

Lei Liu is an acupuncturist and Master Herbalist specializing in pain relief and car accident injuries. He graduated in 1987 from the Shan Xi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and worked in a 500-bed Chinese hospital as a faculty practitioner before moving to the United States. Lei has been practicing in Oregon for 20 years, including 6 years as Clinic Supervisor at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. He is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Oregon.

When not treating patients Lei enjoys playing with his grandson, tending to his flourishing gardening, and cheering on his favorite basketball team the Portland Trailblazers!

Sarah Wickstrom graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine with an emphasis on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Tuina massage. While on an acupuncture relief project in Chapagaon, Nepal, she treated patients with a wide range of challenging conditions and developed a passion for treating people suffering from stroke sequelae and multiple sclerosis.

She also has a special interest in treating metabolic and endocrine disorders such as hypothyroidism and diabetes. Her goal is to relieve her patients from pain and stress while empowering them to regain and maintain health. Sarah joined our clinic in [year] and is a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Oregon.

Sarah also greatly enjoys tending to her small "homestead" during her off time which includes a garden, chickens, goats, dogs, and maybe even more now. Ask her about it sometimes and she will be happy to tell you how it's going.

Pamela Lovall has been working in the medical field since 2003 and graduated from the National College of Natural Medicine in 2012. She is committed to helping people who suffer from chronic pain conditions, traumatic injuries, and digestive disorders and has a deep appreciation for the healing that can come from Chinese medicine. She strives to help people reach their optimum health with acupuncture, herbal formulas, and gentile dietary counseling. Pam joined the clinic in 2014 and is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Oregon.

Stephanie Gallagher graduated from Acupuncture Massage College in Miami, Florida, in 2013 with a Master's in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She has a background working for nonprofit organizations and experience in high-volume community acupuncture clinics in Oregon and Florida. Stephanie has a special focus on treating acute and chronic pain and digestive conditions. Her aim is to provide individualized care in her practice that helps patients reach their health goals and improve their quality of life, ending or greatly reducing any mental or physical suffering. Stephanie joined our clinic in 2016 and is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Oregon.

Outside of work, Stephanie’s favorite pastimes are spending time with family and hiking with her dog and fiancé. She also enjoys reading, attending local concerts and events, and increasing her love for people and the Earth through traveling.

Alexander (“Alex”) Magnifique graduated from East West College of Healing Arts in 2016 with a focus in deep tissue, myofascial, and structural bodywork varieties of massage. Alex has a keen interest in Chinese herbal medicine and has trained extensively in Chinese medicine under acupuncturist Ron Rosen in Colorado. He worked in the tea industry before finally finding his other passion, massage therapy. Alex joined our clinic in 2016 and is a licensed massage therapist in the state of Oregon.

Outside of work, Alex founded (and still operates) a nonprofit after-school program that teaches middle and high school students computer engineering and programming skills. A man of many talents and stories, Alex is dedicated to spreading the message of health and wellness through natural medicine.

Morgan learned Oscillation, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, and Swedish massage at the California Healing Arts College. Then she expanded her skills to include Sports, Myofascial, and Thai massage while working in spas, therapeutic centers, and a sports therapy studio in the Bay Area. She is a firm believer in working with her clients to get them feeling their best and the power of integrative healing. Morgan uses a mix of slow, deep strokes, rocking movements, Trigger Point work and stretching; making the session a balance of relaxing and therapeutic work, to find what resonates with her clients bodies to help them heal and feel rejuvenated.

Morgan came to appreciate the benefits of massage while growing up dancing and playing sports. She would even work on friends for practice and the joy of it. She is a licensed massage therapist in Oregon and California.

Jessica Bauer is a case manager at the West Linn clinic. She is a down-to-earth girl from rural Wisconsin and has spent the greater part of the past 10 years traveling the world, educating herself and others. Her lifelong interest in health and healing led her to Portland, Oregon in 2014 to study natural and holistic medicine. She is working on her Master's degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine at the University of Western States, and she hopes to treat individuals with chronic and genetic disorders using food as medicine.

When she isn't trotting the globe, Jessie spends her free time building her urban homestead, cooking meals from her garden, and raising five chickens. Jessie has an unwavering passion for nurturing others and works hard to help them take control of their health.

Case manager Ashley Pelton graduated with a B.S. in neurobiology, physiology, and human behavior from the University of California, Davis. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, ambulances, and transplant clinics. She has dedicated her life to acquiring knowledge and experience in a broad range of health and wellness related fields and philosophies, and passing on that knowledge to those around her so they too can learn and benefit in their own lives.

As a recent transplant to the Pacific Northwest, Ashley is eagerly settling down with plans to garden, raise animals, and enjoy the cooler weather. Her goal as a case manager is to educate patients so they truly understand their own health. She wants to inspire people to help themselves and achieve healthier bodies and minds.
