Nina Yonezawa, MAcOM, L.Ac.

This provider is no longer practicing at our clinic and is not accepting new patients.

Nina is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Oregon and holds board certification nationally (NCCAOM). She recently graduated from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine with her Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM), and holds a dual Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Chinese language from the University of Oregon. She studied abroad in Beijing in high school and college, during which time she became fascinated in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She discovered the effectiveness of integrated medicine while living in China, and hopes to see these integrative practices continue to grow in the states as well.

As a practitioner, Nina tailors each treatment to the specific and unique needs of the individual and her goal is to help empower her patients to recognize and optimize their innate healing power. She strives to identify the root cause of her patient’s symptoms, and works to address both while treating her patients. She uses acupuncture, cupping, guasha, massage, and herbal medicine in her practice. In addition to these modalities, she is passionate about using food as medicine.

When Nina is not practicing in the clinic, you can find her exploring the outdoors with her baby daughter and husband, trail running, cycling, bike-packing, backpacking, practicing yoga, or cooking for her friends and family.
