Isabelle D'Arcy, LAc
Isabelle D'Arcy L.Ac. went to Amherst College for undergraduate studies and graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, where she studied shiatsu and Japanese meridian therapy in addition to Chinese medicine. In addition to treating with acupuncture, she enjoys working with Chinese herbs and finds it fascinating that leaves and twigs can effect such powerful transformations in the body.
In the practice of acupuncture, her favorite aspect is the relationship with patients – getting to know people and becoming a part of their lives over time is such a pleasure. As a practitioner, she has had success treating a variety of conditions ranging from pain to internal medicine. In particular, she takes a holistic view to healing and seeks to address all levels an illness exists at, including physical, mental-emotional, and spiritual.
Before studying Chinese medicine, Isabelle worked in corporate Japan and is fluent in Japanese. She loves recommending places to visit in Japan, so definitely check in with her if you're planning a trip! In her spare time, she enjoys going for walks in nature and trying out new recipes.
