Mackenna Mastrud, MAcOM, L.Ac.
Mackenna Mastrud is a nationally board certified Licensed Acupuncturist driven by a life-long passion to empower individuals to take charge of their health and well-being. She graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 2021 with a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Additionally, she also holds certifications in teaching qigong from the Ling Gui International Healing School and guiding clients through regenerative detoxification from the International School of the Healing Arts and Sciences.
With a wealth of knowledge in diverse East-Asian modalities, Mackenna collaborates with her patients to identify the most suitable approaches for their unique healing journeys. Mackenna employs a range of approaches including internal and external herbal formulas, movement, rest, food, acupuncture (including non-needle techniques), shiatsu massage, and guided meditation to address deep-rooted pathologies and aid in patient recovery.
While she was always interested in health and wellness, Mackenna discovered the power and potential of acupuncture through her personal healing journey from chronic and life-threatening illness. Through these experiences she followed her heart and pursed an education and career in acupuncture and natural medicine.
A true Oregonian at heart, Mackenna was born and raised in Oregon and has always had a passion for the outdoors. During summers in the Pacific Northwest, she craves hiking near waterfalls, dancing, and fruit-picking. Beyond her career, she looks forward to spending time with loved ones and meditating.
